Battlefield: Bad Company 2 player statistics archive

What's going on?

As previously announced by EA, online services for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 were shut down on December 8, 2023. Since the shutdown, the game is no longer be playable online. With the official online services turned off, all player stats for the game have also vanished, or at least become inaccessible.

Since player stats have always been an important part of any Battlefield game, I decided to archive stats for as many BFBC2 players as I could until the backend went offline.

You can download the entirety of the archived data here (gzipped SQL dump, 41.93 GB). The data is also accessible via a simple REST API.

Final numbers

In total, I was able to archive player statistics for 15,612,170 players across all platforms. With 2,350 data points per player, that's 36,688,599,500 total data points. Additionally, the archive contains a total of 742,263,837 dogtag records.

PS34,910,385237,898,584
Xbox 3606,099,984206,662,471

What data was archived?

Everything I could, really. All 2,350 stats attributes for each player, covering the main game as well as the Vietnam DLC. The archive also includes all available dogtag records, up to 1,000 records per player.

What now?

You can still play the game on PC via Project Rome. Assuming your stats were archived before the shutdown, you can transfer them to Project Rome - even across platforms.
